So, last year a bunch of us went to Six Flags and for the second year in a row, I couldn't ride Batman. Not only that, but it was very difficult to fit on the other rides as well. I remember leaving the park and swearing that I would lose weight so I could be more comfortable and actually ride Batman come next season.

Well, it worked. Everything fit, and I was able to ride all the rides and comfortably too. We were there from 11 to 8 and I was able to ride 15 times. 3 of those were Superman, 2 were Batman, 1 splashwater falls, 1 Deja Vu, 1 Mindbender, 1 Ninja, 1 Dahlonega Mine Train, 1 Georgia Scorcher, 4 Thunder Rivers.

While there, we saw signs and landscaping for the new coaster due in 06 - Goliath.

In case anyone's curious, behind the cut are some pics of what it will look like in the park:

The stats for Goliath are this:

Height: 194 ft.
First Drop: 170 ft.
Top Speed: 70 mph
Length: 4480 ft.
Number of Drops: 8
Approx. Duration: 3:30
Capacity: 1220 per hour
Angle of Ascent: 45°
Manufacturer: Bolliger & Mabillard
Trains: Two Nine row, Four abreast trains
Restraints: Simple lap bars
Second Drop: 175 ft.
Third Drop: 129 ft.
Fourth Drop: 118 ft.
Fifth Drop: 79 ft.
Sixth Drop: 56 ft.
Seventh Drop: 48 ft.

If you notice a few things, there are no loops and at no point are you upside-down with the ride. It's a lot like a modified/modern Scream Machine. We were all curious about the cars and it seems pretty standard. 36 people per train and just a regular lap bar to hold you in.
