I'm sitting here listening to Ray Charles and Nina Simone. You know the former, but perhaps not the latter. She's the one who sings the song played during the promo's for the new season of Six Feet Under.
The show kicked off with a bang on Sunday and I hope those of you who are reading this did get to watch it. If not, no worries. I spoil nothing but only to say it was great to see the family again. I applauded that episode if only for the fact that I didn't really enjoy last season.
Deadwood has shaped up to be a really good addition for HBO. Carnival is hopefully in the dust. I know a few who liked it, but not many did from what I have heard. I'm one of the many I suppose.
Goddamn I'm gonna miss Ray.
Last night I watched The Casino on Fox. Good show, cept for the theme. I love that song, just not the way they did it. However, it fits. The original version just wouldn't cut it, so I know they had to do what they had to do. By the way, the song was written by Bono for Mr. Sinatra's birthday. I just have a lot of respect for it is all.
Another random thought here. All the media (screenshots, videos, etc...) that I have posted and seen for Burnout 3 has come from the PS2 version. I'm both surprised and excited. Surprised to see the PS2 look so damn good and excited cause the Xbox version will look just as good and probably a bit better.
Work is going well, money is much better than before. No longer am I paying 200+ a month for just blue cross/shield. I'm now getting health, dental, and vision for just 80 a month. Tons better than before.
The pool is almost ready. The patio got cleaned off this past weekend and more cleaning in the pool needs to be done, chemicals balanced and it'll be good to go.
I hate frogs. Yesterday I pulled out 6 frogs and 1 dead bird out of the skimmer.
I don't really know where else this post is going or if it even got anywhere to begin with, but it's gotta stop. I got an air-shift to do. Later all.
