This would be the Great Pyramids of Giza...at night.
Course, seeing those I couldn't pass up a quick fly by of the Great Sphinx
Now before I get to the shots of Vegas, I just wanted to show you this:
That's somewhere between 95 to 100,000 feet above the Earth. I think that's Michigan...but I'm not sure.
Now, on to Vegas.
This is Vegas at dusk, just as everything is starting to turn on and nights becomes day on the strip.
That shot was before I installed a patch with new textures and stuff specifically for Las Vegas.
This was after.
As you can see, that's the entire strip...or well, the main part of it, right there...from beginning to end.
Let's get closer.
Whoever did this...did a damn good job. A lot of detail is there, especially streets and little shops and stuff like that...all of it's very well done.
I like how they even added the walkways that are between hotels so you don't have to cross the street. At the time I visited there....there was a gigantic banner hanging down the entire side of the Grand with a picture of Britney Spears in an Elivs jumpsuit.
Now, if you were to take that shot above and look at it from the reverse angle, you'd see this:
The Holiday Inn of Las Vegas....The Excalibur. Best part of that place....you didn't even have to go outside to get to this place:
The Luxor. Not much to say about it. It's got a great Egyptian theme to it and I really, really enjoyed it.
Hope you enjoyed this little tour of sorts.
