Sleepless Nights

Between this game:

And Uru: Ages Beyond Myst, and "There", I'm gonna be pretty busy. Not to mention there are 3 games left coming out this week alone that I'll be picking up and all 3 of them promise to be just as fun and involving as all that I have mentioned so far.

But, back to the Legacy Of Kain series.

Man, this game plays like a good book. A book you really can't put down. And I didn't wanna stop playing this, but I knew if I kept going, I wouldn't be sleeping much tonight. The combat system works well. I thought I was going to miss the puzzle aspect of all the previous games, but I don't seem to be noticing much. Supposedly 65% percent is combat while the rest is devoted to puzzels, whereas in previous installments of the game it was the other way around. Switching back and forth between the two characters is simple. Their controls are virtually the same so there's no need to remember how to play as one character and then try and re-learn the other. The timeframe between each character is 500 years. The story is soooooo good. The stories have always been good in this series. Next to the Myst series of games, this is my next favorite.

And, for everything you ever wanted to know about the series and storylines and whatever else...check out Nosgoth.
